In The Preparatory Department children have specialist teachers in a wide range of subjects, whilst under the care of a Form teacher for pastoral support.

Children join one of our three Houses and take part in a variety of inter-house competitions. They represent the school in games matches, sing in choirs, act on our stage and enjoy a programme of day and residential visits. Emphasis is placed on the development of each child as an individual. By the time our children are prepared for their exit exams they are studying under a strong team of specialist teachers. We are proud that senior schools comment on the well-rounded character of our pupils in addition to their academic prowess.
