Children at Barrow Hills have every opportunity to develop their sporting abilities with the support of specialist teaching staff, extensive playing fields and facilities, including a heated, covered swimming pool and, from September 2008, a mini Astro turf pitch.

We play all major sports and have a full fixture list with matches against other schools. Alongside this we also have inter-house matches every term which involve all the children in the Prep department culminating in our Sports Day. In our timetabled PE lessons the pupils have swimming, athletics, gymnastics, tennis, badminton, basketball and volleyball. Our aim is that every child leaves Barrow Hills with a healthy and life-long love of sport.
