Reception

Children join us in Reception in the academic year in which they celebrate their fifth birthday. Reception pupils attend full-time from September.

We know that this first year of full school is vital to your child's development, and the foundations laid in English and Maths will serve them as they move through the School.

We believe that the teaching we offer  is excellent, and the progress your child can make in this year alone through individual attention and differentiation is remarkable.

The children have specialist teaching in Music, Sport and French and there are opportunities for further enrichment through activities such as Ballet, Outdoor Classroom and day trips.  Small class sizes allow our  teachers and  qualified assistants to give the individual attention that will enable your child to thrive.
