Our Community

Our school is strong not only because of the excellent education we give our children but also because of the strong community that surrounds this. More than an excellent timetable of subjects is needed to develop the pro-social skills which children need to be a success as future adults in tomorrow's world.

Outstanding pastoral care, a strong spiritual framework and personal development opportunities for pupils thorugh the School Council and our service and leadership program all contribute to well rounded and confident individuals.

As a parent there are also many opportunities to be involved in school life and be an active member of our community.

As well as the more formal committees: namely: Barrow Hills Parent Society (BHPS), the Barrow Hills Development Initiative (BHDI) and the Charity Committee, there are many others: from reading in the Pre-Prep department, volunteering as a class rep, to helping on a school trip  or with the weekly flowers.
