Estate & AdminThe Administration and Estates Department comprises a team of dedicated staff who are responsible for managing the School's administration and maintaining the estate. Led by the Bursar, the team deals with the business side of the School and supports the Headmaster and the teaching staff. The estate comprises grounds of over 30 acres and buildings with a total footprint of approximately 3,500 square metres. The grounds incorporate sports facilities, which include games pitches, tennis and netball courts, an Astroturf all-weather sports pitch and a swimming pool. They also include extensive woodland and natural habitats for the Forest School and outdoor curriculum as well as formal Gertrude Jekyll gardens and adjoining play areas. The buildings include Great Roke, whicb is an Arts and Crafts former country house completed in 1909, and which is now the main school building; the modern St Thomas More Centre, a dedicated classroom block for senior pupils which includes an ICT suite; converted stables which house the Art & Design and the Design & Technology departments, and "The New Block" (completed in 1961!) which comprises classrooms, a Science lab, a sports hall and a theatre.
